Production Operator- Battery

Responsibilities

Perform basic manual and machine-assisted tasks in battery cell manufacturing and assembly
Load and unload materials, components, and finished parts
Operate simple production equipment according to written and verbal instructions
Inspect parts visually for defects and report issues to supervisors
Package, label, and move materials in accordance with work instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures always
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Meet production targets and follow shift schedules
Support team members and supervisors as needed
Perform basic computer tasks as needed
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
Basic reading, writing, and counting skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to work overtime or shift work as required

Required

High School diploma or commensurate level of related experience
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Ability to perform repetitive motions
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with loud noises, machinery, and controlled chemicals
Must be able to effectively listen, understand, and communicate with team members at all levels

Prior work experience in a manufacturing assembly, warehouse, or production environment
Experience with 5S, lean manufacturing, or clean/controlled environments
A demonstrated history of attendance and strong punctuality/work ethic
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required
Experience handling chemicals, batteries, or electronic components
