Responsibilities
Select, contract, and manage food and beverage vendors
Ensure vendors meet quality, service, and compliance standards
Coordinate vendor setup, operations, and teardown
Develop and execute a comprehensive food and concessions plan
Oversee layout and logistics of concession stands, hospitality tents, and VIP areas
Monitor inventory, staffing, and service levels throughout the event
Manage food and beverage budgets, including forecasting and cost control
Track revenue and expenses, and provide post-event financial reporting
Ensure a high-quality, consistent culinary experience for all attendees
Address customer service issues and implement improvements as needed
Ensure all food operations comply with local health codes and PGA standards
Coordinate with security and safety teams to maintain a safe environment
Supervise on-site food service staff and volunteers
Provide training and support to ensure smooth operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for food-related inquiries
Collaborate with tournament leadership, sponsors, and hospitality partners
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in large-scale event food service or hospitality management
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and vendor operations
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts
Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Prior experience with PGA or similar sporting events
