Responsibilities

Provide support and backup for the Director, Asset Protection
Oversee all aspects of Asset Protection operations to support company profit and service goals
Protect company assets, monitor alarms, and ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property by enforcing security policies
Hire, train, and supervise the Asset Protection staff
Communicate with facility management and Supply Chain Asset Protection on shortage and security issues, recommending solutions as needed
Maximize partnerships with serviced stores to improve inventory accuracy, reduce shortage, and drive sales
Identify and investigate causes of shortage, including potential internal and external theft
Secure and monitor trailer movement in and out of the facility
Manage Asset Protection operations, including staff communication, workload balancing, scheduling, and processing standards
Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets
Ensure departments meet or exceed performance goals in safety, shortage reduction, cost control, quality, and customer service
Analyze activities, costs, and operations to assess progress toward department objectives
Develop and mentor direct reports to foster growth and performance excellence
Ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication with subordinates, peers, and senior management
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply
This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands
Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
May involve reaching above eye level
Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs
