Responsibilities
Assigning work, supervises staff and verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system
Managing the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems and life safety systems in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
Directs outside contractors and inspects quality of work by team members
Responds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situations. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff
Qualification
Required
Experience in engineering, maintenance, and facilities management
Ability to assign work, supervise staff, and verify completion of maintenance and repairs
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding facility safety and functionality
Experience managing mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, and life safety systems
Ability to direct outside contractors and inspect quality of work
Experience responding to guest calls and emergency situations
Skills in interviewing, training, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and evaluating staff
Demonstration of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency
