Biodiversity Reporter
GoodWork Environmental Jobs is seeking a Biodiversity Reporter to join The Tyee's newsroom. The role focuses on investigative reporting related to the health and degradation of ecosystems in Western Canada, emphasizing public-interest journalism that holds institutions accountable and deepens understanding of ecological changes.

Responsibilities
Combine features and investigative reporting to examine the health and degradation of habitats and ecosystems
Produce original articles for publication on The Tyee
Qualification
Required
Strong reporting and writing skills, with a flair for narrative
Time management skills, including the ability to keep to tight deadlines
Team oriented and collaborative at heart
Familiar with The Tyee and our style of journalism
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Preferred
A track record of reporting, especially in B.C
Formal journalism education
