Responsibilities

One-on-one mentor calls to answer recruiting questions and set expectations
Ongoing recruiting advising with consistent communication throughout the process
Helping athletes identify realistic college fits based on ability, academics, finances, and goals
Guiding families through timelines, outreach strategy, visits, and decision-making
Direct outreach to college coaches on behalf of your clients

Qualification

Required

Former college softball player (any NCAA division, NAIA, or junior college)
Firsthand experience with the college softball recruiting process
Strong communicator, comfortable working with both athletes and parents
Willingness to maintain consistent communication with athletes and families
Ability to give honest, realistic feedback about level fit and opportunities
Professional, reliable, and self-motivated in a remote setting
Passion for mentoring and helping athletes make informed decisions

Preferred

Connections to college softball coaches or programs are a plus
Active presence on social media (Instagram, TikTok, X, or similar) related to softball, athletics, or athlete development
Willingness to share educational recruiting content and represent the College Prospector brand professionally online
