Responsibilities

Administer and maintain learning management system including uploading new content, managing course assignments, and ensuring high-quality, easy-to-navigate training offerings
Assign and define user roles for organization learners including employed staff, credentialed staff, and contracted services
Implement and maintain competency database; collaborate with departments to build and upload standardized competencies for specific roles such as nursing and radiology
Upload and manage eLearning content, courses, and competency files as requested by departments and leadership
Maintain accurate records and evaluate metrics to gauge training effectiveness and course compliance across the network
Provide technical support to learners regarding system errors or access issues; escalate complex technical issues to IT support as appropriate
Collaborate with departments to fine-tune online training strategy including updating courses to reflect policy changes and regulatory requirements
Provide ongoing feedback and communication including system upgrade announcements, compliance completion reminders, and system training to end users
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate staff on LMS and competency database usage
Serve as subject matter expert on LMS and competency database platforms; share knowledge on how systems support organizational training goals
Monitor training completion rates and compliance deadlines; generate reports for leadership on training metrics and outcomes
Partner with departments to identify training needs and translate them into actionable eLearning solutions

Required

3-5 years LMS administration experience required
Hands-on experience administering learning management systems including user management, content uploads, and system configuration
Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and comfort learning new software platforms
Ability to deliver training sessions and workshops to diverse audiences on system usage and best practices
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to partner with clinical and administrative departments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for providing system updates, training materials, and user support
Ability to track, analyze, and report on training metrics, completion rates, and compliance data
Meticulous accuracy in managing user roles, course assignments, and competency records

Preferred

Content development and competency management experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Education, or related field
Understanding of healthcare training requirements and regulatory compliance needs
Experience with competency-based education and assessment in healthcare settings
Familiarity with healthcare compliance training requirements (Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
Instructional design background or certification
Experience with SCORM-compliant content and eLearning authoring tools
Project management skills for coordinating system implementations and upgrades
Experience working with clinical departments such as nursing, radiology, or allied health
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methodologies
Budget management experience for learning technology platforms
