Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues

Required

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
At least 8 years of experience in Java and open source technologies
Hands-on Java Programming experience with core Java constructs such as Collections, Exceptions, Streams, and Lambdas
Experience with Async programming constructs of Java including Multithreading, Executors, Futures, and Completable Futures
Experience with Java frameworks on the Reactive Stack such as Spring Reactive, RxJava, Netty, Vert.X, and Akka
Experience working with microservices APIs including REST, SOAP, and gRPC
Proficiency with build tools such as Gradle (preferred) or Maven (minimum)
Experience using Unit Testing Tools like Junit (minimum), Cucumber, or other equivalents
Experience with git or equivalent source code management systems, including resolving merge conflicts

Preferred

Knowledge of Java Performance tooling, including analyzing heap dumps, thread dumps, JConsole, and JMC
