Director of Donor and Corporate Partner Engagement (DCPE)
Year Up United is a national workforce development organization committed to equitable access to economic opportunity for young adults. The Director of Donor and Corporate Partner Engagement will manage projects to cultivate relationships with stakeholders, oversee a communications calendar, and support fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities
In conjunction with Managing Director of Development, Director of Development Strategy and Support, and Managing Directors of Corporate Engagement create and disseminate comprehensive touchpoints calendar and own implementation of key deliverables in said calendar; revisit strategy quarterly to ensure tactics are aligned to overall revenue needs
Ensure that overarching stewardship programs align to and meet the business needs of each specific revenue segment for both revenue business units (all gift types on Development and both account types on Corporate Engagement) and account for cross-team revenue opportunities
Supervise all DCPE staff members by providing coaching, vision and direction for delivery of key cultivation, solicitation and stewardship collateral pieces and language
Work closely with Development and Corporate Engagement staff, the Marketing Team, and the Events Team to lead strategy creation and project management for major engagement events including but not limited to: salon events, Opportunity Society cultivation or stewardship events, Corporate Partner stewardship events, Client Engagement events, and large-scale stakeholder-facing national Year Up United events, in-person and virtually
Build out strategies for combined Development and Corporate Engagement stewardship i.e. roundtables or stakeholder events that help Year Up United achieve revenue goals on both fronts
Design and/or implement other engagement opportunities (potentially including liaising with the volunteer team or supporting one-off volunteerism events) for key stakeholders in close concert with leadership
Liaise closely with Year Up United leadership and/or Executive Operations on all events
Develop stewardship plan for each event and track and report out on results. Share learnings, updates, and best practices with all Revenue staff regarding events
With the Donor Services team, ensure delivery of acknowledgments and consistent stewardship across the network for stakeholders of all levels and types
Oversee process with Marketing Team and Development leadership to produce Investor Calls and Updates, and other special stewardship projects
Advise on the implementation of locally implemented direct-response programs and create and disseminate documents or strategies to support economies of scale on these projects
Partner with IT and Data Systems team to track which stakeholders earn various stewardship benefits and produce regular reports to be disseminated to the Development team related to specific performance on these fronts
Serve as a coach/mentor for a small number of current students
Join and sometimes facilitate weekly group sessions with students
Participate in staff meetings and trainings
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional work experience
Exceptional project management abilities and track record of managing complex projects to an outcome
Significant experience leading or implementing external-facing events, stewardship pieces, and/or volunteerism
Database experience required, with a preference for Salesforce.com experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office required, preference for strong grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel
A professional and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at one time
An unwavering attention to detail and aptitude for information management required
Flexibility, creativity and willingness to learn and work on different tasks as needed
Excellent organizational and written skills
A passion for working with young adults, an unshakable belief in their potential and a strong commitment to the mission of Year Up United

Preferred
Prior experience in a management role by building and mentoring teams across geographies
