Postdoctoral Scientist - Coon Lab

The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is seeking talented and motivated postdoctoral scientists to join the Coon Lab in their Cardiovascular Biology Research Program. The role involves studying the physiological relationship between vascular biomechanics and homeostasis, contributing to research on vascular diseases through innovative projects.

Responsibilities

Join our team in the Cardiovascular Biology Research Program
Study the physiological relationship between vascular biomechanics and homeostasis
Investigate how the disruption of these regulatory circuits contributes to vascular diseases such as malformations, inflammatory vasculopathies, and dementia
Work on two new mouse genetic models of vascular malformations, endothelial plasticity, and hemodynamic signaling pathways controlling vascular remodeling

Qualification

Ph.D. in Biological SciencesBiomedical EngineeringTechnical proficiencyResearch excellenceWork ethic

Required

Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; M.D.; or equivalent qualification
Demonstrated technical proficiency
Strong work ethic

Preferred
