Responsibilities
Review closed loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliant with company, investor and regulatory requirements prior to delivery and purchase
Ensure all closing conditions have been satisfied and documented
Verify execution and proper recording of required loan documents
Clear post-closing conditions and suspense items
Prepare loan files for investor delivery and shipping
Communicate with title companies, settlement agents, lenders, and internal teams to resolve post-closing issues
Monitor trailing documents and follow up as needed
Maintain accurate records within the loan origination system (Byte)
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor guidelines and timelines
Prioritize and monitor daily workflow to ensure all loans are being worked on in accordance with mortgage compliance regulation timelines and department expectations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
At least 1 year of experience in mortgage post-closing
Strong knowledge of residential mortgage documents and post-closing procedures
Preferred
Familiarity with FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA/Jumbo and Non-QM investor requirements
Experience with Byte and document management platforms
