Learning and Development Manager
Viking Electric is a company dedicated to providing electrical products and services to contractors, operating throughout the Midwest. They are seeking a Learning and Development Manager responsible for creating effective learning experiences and developing training programs that support organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Direct, design, implement and evaluate engaging training programs (classroom, virtual, and e-learning) aligned with business needs
Create instructional materials, job aids, and learning resources using adult learning principles
Develop and maintain regular assessment of training effectiveness, using various learning and assessment methodologies
Partner closely with leadership to assess organizational needs and collaborate to develop and institute effective training programs that help deliver organizational goals
Identify scalable solutions for various learner groups
Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development
Bachelor's degree in a related field required
Significant learning/training/development experience with a broad set of types of positions
A deep understanding of the effective training tools and approaches for a variety of employee populations (corporate, hourly, and high-volume roles)
Advanced understanding of LMS platforms, e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and tasks
Experience developing learning strategies to support goals and objectives critical to the business
Knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices related to learning and development, training and adult education
Proven experience to successfully manage multiple projects of small and large magnitude
Familiarity with new technological tools and resources that advance creative solutions for training, education, and development
