Account Manager, Cargo Sales

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains relationships with a portfolio of Regional Accounts
Develops strategic business plans to manage and grow portfolio
Analyzes market trends and collaborates with Revenue Management to develop sales programs
Utilizes 360 to manage pipeline activity
Actively utilizes sales tools including PowerBI to uncover new market opportunities
Utilize PowerBI to manage customer allotments and yield
Negotiates pricing and capacity agreements with our regional customers
Meets/exceeds specific revenue goals associated with customer portfolio
Reviews industry data to leverage market opportunities and create value
Works closely with our field sales, Operations, Revenue Management and Strategy teams to grow our business
Participates in Sales Strategy planning
Presents to senior management within American Airlines Cargo and our Customers
Represents American Airlines at industry events
Works closely with the field sales team to ensure consistent customer strategy
Works closely with the operations team to ensure that our service performance meets both American’s, and our customers, needs
Ability to travel

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
2 years Sales experience
Sales experience
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines assigned by Manager
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and effectively manage projects
Aptitude for problem solving
Strong project management skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Understanding of the airline's network, products, and services as well as the competition

Preferred

Familiarity with American Airlines products/services
Cargo experience
