The General Manager will be responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, and leading the team to ensure top quality product output while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Lead all plant operations including production, packaging, warehousing, maintenance, and utilities
Ensure consistent achievement of production targets while maintaining product quality and cost controls
Implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and equipment utilization
Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and certifications relevant to dry type manufacturing
Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective actions related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Develop and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and operating expenses
Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and cost efficiency
Support capital planning, including equipment upgrades and facility improvements
Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and plant personnel
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Oversee workforce planning, training, performance management, and labor relations
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and planning teams to ensure reliable material supply and inventory control
Collaborate with sales, technical, and customer service teams to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments
Address customer issues related to production, quality, or delivery in a timely and effective manner
Execute company strategies at the plant level and contribute to long-term operational planning
Lead continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, efficiency, and sustainability
Monitor industry trends and best practices relevant to dry type manufacturing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
5-6+ years of manufacturing experience, including senior leadership or plant management roles
Proven experience managing dry type or batch-based manufacturing operations
Strong knowledge of production planning, maintenance systems, quality management, and safety regulations
Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing plant budgets and KPIs
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
