Responsible for business development efforts for Naval engineering projects
Meets with technical managers and customers to obtain feedback
Evaluates future business opportunities
Obtains business intelligence
Conducts new business capture
Coordinates work efforts with operational managers
Provides company capabilities to potential customers
Performs business development functions with Government representatives
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of experience in business development functions focused on federal Government projects is required
Applicant must be able to communicate effectively and be familiar with Government contract and proposal development requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen and be eligible for a government security clearance
A Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university or college is required
U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for a Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards
Preferred
Five or more years of experience in providing engineering solutions to U.S. Navy ship systems issues is desired
