Account Manager

Responsibilities
Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, enhance profitability, and ensure that each customer uses OneSource as their primary source of material
Promote and sell the people, products, and services of OneSource
Tailor a business plan that is appropriate to each customer’s business potential and market needs
Establish and maintain a consistent call schedule based upon the profitability and future potential of assigned accounts
Implement an effective pricing plan tailored to each customer
Coordinate and plan with the Account Representative and all other specialists (digital, lighting, gear, energy, wire & cable, automation, tools and safety) to ensure the customer is receiving the information and services needed in a timely fashion
Resolve customer disputes concerning delivery, vendors, pricing, and returns in a timely manner
Coordinate the efforts of the Credit department by obtaining the accounts receivable goals of the organization
Prospect for new accounts as applicable
Introduce and demonstrate new products to accounts
Develop strong supplier relationships
Analyze changes in market conditions as they apply to the territory
Develop good working relationships with all specialists and support personnel
Engage in after-work customer entertainment

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
5 - 7 years of related experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred, but not required
