They are seeking a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, collecting and analyzing subcontractor bids, and ensuring project success through collaboration with Project Management and development teams.

Responsibilities
Responsible for sending requests for proposals, following up with subcontractors to ensure bids are received, reviewed thoroughly and analyzed in a timely manner
Collects, tracks and reviews subcontractor bid packages
Performs material take-offs for all building materials purchased direct
Have a thorough understanding of historical costs, understand logistical and or cost impacts to the budget of details and materials specified
Manage estimates in Timberline
Ensure Contract Exhibits are completed timely and accurately
Establish strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and operations
Stay up to date on market and industry trends
Oversee building permit applications, tracking and issuance of permits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related discipline
3-6 years experience construction estimating experience – local trade contractor market knowledge a plus, prior construction field experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of construction materials and processes
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Timberline, Cortex, Bluebeam, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be proactive and work with a sense of urgency
Establish strong relationships and partnerships with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors and development
Demonstrates solid communication skills, through strong attention to detail, and ability to help facilitate meetings
Excellent leader and company team player
Ability to effectively coordinate, organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
Ability to maintain focus while working in a high level, fast paced environment
