Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift Foundry
Emerson is a global leader in automation technology and software, and they are seeking a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic to join their 2nd shift team at Appleton Electric, a metal casting foundry. Responsibilities
Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
Maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical failures on Industrial manufacturing equipment
Obtains working knowledge of all equipment and supporting functions
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics for machine troubleshooting and installation
Repair and troubleshoots minor electrical failures
Fabrication of various objects by welding, cutting, bending, heat treating or forming of metal
Qualification
Required
Completed a State Indentured Mechanical Maintenance apprenticeship or equivalent experience
Mechanically inclined and have good problem solving capabilities
Determine root causes of equipment failures, working with maintenance team and operators
Ability to work independently and in a team environment when required

$.75/hour shift differential
Overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day
