Responsibilities
Comply with all plant safety regulations and company policies
Understand and have experience in setting-up and operating CNC horizontal and vertical mills including axis assignment/basic program interpretation and editing
Be able to select applicable Fixturing required
Load Fixturing
Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gaging
Determine the correct print for each part
Read and understand the dimensions and tolerances stated therein
Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gauging
Using the work instruction & print provided adjust the tooling diameters and depths to keep the parts within print
Follow all ISO procedures
Perform all tooling changes and touch-offs as required - including Drills/Endmills/Reamers
Determine the condition of running tools and perform minor qualified tooling changes such as indexable inserts on both CNC lathes and CNC VMCs
Perform minor preventative maintenance assignments as required
Other duties as assigned and required by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
3 years of experience and be proficient with setting up and operating CNC machines
Experience and ability to read blue prints and proficient at using micrometers and calipers
Team player in the cell group
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Quality conscious and have a commitment to details
Maintain good housekeeping practices
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs

Must be legally eligible to work in the US
Preferred
3 years or more of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment assembling metal components
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
