Responsibilities
Develops and maintains business relationships with dealerships for the Indirect Lending business, which includes automotive, marine, and recreational vehicle
Markets products to consumer and commercial customers, existing customers, as well as developing relationships with new customers
Shares accountability for credit quality with the Underwriting team as well as deepening customer relationships by selling U.S. Bank products
A significant amount of time is spent in face-to-face contact with the client or prospect
Clients are often regionally based with multi-regional or national locations
Requires a significant amount of local and regional travel with some national travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Nine or more years of sales experience in the financial services industry
Ability to travel
Preferred
Excellent marketing, sales and relationship management skills
Advanced knowledge of appropriate laws and statues pertaining to loan/lease documentation and credit analysis
Proven customer service/relations skills
Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Experience with lease programs and processes to help educate clients
Experience with leader programs and platforms and experience teaching these to clients
Experience in building relationships with dealer principals and partners to build a trusted working relationship
Experience with dealership and bank representative sales
Strong organizational skills to manage a territory
