Responsibilities
Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear and continuous communication
Business Process Analysis: Perform business process analysis, assess performance, and provide recommendations for improvement
Project Management: Oversee the project, ensuring it stays on track with scope, timeline, and budget. Perform risk assessments and manage issues as they arise
Team Management: Lead the engineering team to deliver project deliverables on time and within the defined scope
Project Deliverables: Ensure that all project deliverables match the project plan and meet the estimates provided during planning
Review and Approval: Review and approve project deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met
Client Meetings: Set up and facilitate client meetings, ensuring all key stakeholders are involved and informed
Meeting Facilitation: Lead meetings, document key outcomes, and distribute meeting notes to all stakeholders
Task Assignment: Create detailed project plans and assign tasks to team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Daily Stand-Up Meetings: Manage and conduct daily stand-up meetings to track progress and address any issues quickly
Weekly Status Meetings: Set up and facilitate weekly status meetings with the client and internal teams to track project progress, discuss challenges, and provide updates
Weekly Status Reports: Create and submit weekly status reports detailing progress, challenges, risks, and next steps
Qualification
Required
Minimum 12 years of experience in project management with a focus on managing software and engineering teams
Must have experience with the Accessible Tool for Learning About Students (ATLAS) application
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and collaborating with clients and stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, create reports, and manage client relationships
Proficient with project management software and tools to track progress, manage tasks, and generate reports
Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills to ensure project success and overcome obstacles
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively
Preferred
A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
Experience with cross-functional teams and large-scale projects
