Responsibilities
Must be able to follow instructions carefully, including quality procedures, which may require some basic reading skills and the ability to follow diagrams and pictures
Must understand the mechanics of internal combustion engines
Must be adept at using computers, sensors and following detailed engine testing protocol
Perform the same task repeatedly
Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
Inspecting fully assembled and/or partially assembled engines, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
Install engines onto, and monitor engine functions on, hot test stands
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Hands-on mechanical & fabrication skills to support builds, setups, repairs and maintenance
Strong computer skills in MS Office
Team player with ability to mobilize support when necessary
Ability to organize and plan multiple tasks effectively
Ability to travel up to 5%
