Responsibilities
Testing and documenting internal control systems in a variety of industries
Participating in the review of internal controls
Assisting in the preparation of reports and recommendations associated with work performed
Preparing work papers in accordance with BDO policy
Developing and maintaining relationships with engagement team and client personnel
Applying educational background to work performed
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent, required
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
Ability and willingness to travel, as needed, required
Preferred
Focus in Accounting or Information Systems, preferred
Leadership experience, preferred
Prior Internship or experience working within a public accounting or internal auditing environment, preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow instructions as directed
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
