Responsibilities
Blend traditional measurement analytics with high-impact monitoring work
Learn and use industry-leading tools and resourceful thinking to find and aggregate breaking news, data, and information
Assist your team with translating that raw information into savvy intelligence for clients and account teams by way of briefs, newsletters, crisis alerts, and traditional reporting
Work in lockstep with the digital and account teams
Interact with every facet of the organization and, at times, clients as well
Learn about PR and Integrated Communications and the role data plays in making informed decisions
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of experience
Willing to learn how to leverage information from a bevy of sources to best assist with the analyzing of the problem
Strong appetite for reading and very strong writing skills – able to digest large amounts of information quickly
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Basic experience with digital tools, like: Cision, MuckRack, Talkwalker, PeakMetrics, Google Analytics, NewsWhip, SEMRush, etc
Experience in Microsoft Office applications with specific experience in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.)
Burgeoning problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
Preferred
Basic understanding of marketing and the various metrics that come with them, a plus
Basic knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems, a plus
Experience with measurement, media planning and media mix modeling, a plus
