Building Maintenance
Responsibilities
Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, variance analyses, and management reports
Oversee and manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets and maintenance of general ledger
Work with the Controller and accounting team to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with: GAAP, company accounting policies, local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Perform monthly financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential issues
Support budget and forecasting activities for senior management
Assist with payroll processing and management
Participate in developing and implementing new accounting systems and processes
Supervise accounting staff, provide training, mentoring, and performance management
Qualification
Required
Proven work experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant
5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
2–3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite is a must
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methodologies
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and financial software (e.g., SAP). Power BI a plus
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Management experience a plus
BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
Fluency in English language
Preferred
Construction/Service industry and job costing experience a plus
Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) a plus
