Responsibilities
Manage claims for Kinetic policyholders, including claim reviews, reserve analysis, and closure strategies to minimize policyholders’ total cost of risk
Identify high-risk policyholders and collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to implement risk mitigation strategies
Facilitate return-to-work programs to reduce claim durations and improve injury recovery outcomes
Deliver best-in-class customer service to policyholders and internal teams to enhance claims processes and program effectiveness
Provide on-demand consultations to policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to address claims-related concerns
Update and maintain accurate records, reports, and applications to ensure data consistency
Analyze claims data and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to management
Support product improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization
Lead or contribute to special projects that align with broader company goals
Qualification
Required
At least 4 years of Workers' Compensation claims experience, including managing lost time claims, litigated claims, and conducting loss reserve analyses
Proven experience conducting claim reviews directly with policyholders and their agents
Knowledge or experience with Return-to-Work protocols and programs
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers
Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering presentations
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members at all levels
Proficiency in Google Suite (e.g. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Preferred
Experience working at an Insurtech company or MGA
Experience plotting and visualizing data in a business intelligence platform such as Tableau or Looker
