Responsibilities

Assist in preparing various types of tax returns, such as individual, corporate, partnership, or trust returns
Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to assist with tax planning and compliance
Aid in responding to client inquiries and requests
Maintain organized and accurate tax files, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly recorded and stored for compliance purposes
Support the tax team during audits or reviews by gathering and organizing relevant documents and information
Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and contribute to the development of informed tax strategies
Work closely with team members to complete tasks efficiently and contribute to the overall success of the tax department

Required

Pursuing a degree in Accounting
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software

Familiarity with tax laws and regulations is a plus
