Quality Assurance Lab Technician
The Lighting Quotient designs and manufactures advanced luminaires for the architectural and professional lighting communities. They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to ensure that products meet high quality standards through various inspection tools and techniques.

Responsibilities
Assist with quality issues on the factory floor
Assist with wiring of luminaires
Assist with LED driver programming
Assist with evaluation of luminaire quality issues returned from the field
Create and maintain a log of open quality issues in the field (requires a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel)
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized QA lab
Assist with preparing samples for submission to CSA or ETL for safety certification
Assist with thermal and electrical testing of luminaires
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Vision Inspection Systems is highly desirable
Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis techniques
Knowledge of ISO 13485, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards is preferred
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members across departments

Work Location: In person
Preferred
A student currently studying electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred
Knowledge of ISO 13485, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards is preferred
Ability to Relocate: West Haven, CT 06516: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
