Responsibilities
CNC VTL operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC vertical lates to machine parts
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience operating CNC lathes, Preferably VTL machines
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Familiar with G-Code and M- Code
Skilled on tool changes, offsets, and set-up adjustments
Knowledge of calipers tape measure, and other measuring tools
Understanding of tolerances and surface finish requirements
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. regularly
Stand for long periods, bending and manual moving
Knowledge of basic programming or editing G-code at the machine
Experience with large-diameter parts
Understanding of tool wear and machine maintenance
Strong attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to safety protocols and quality control
Must be able to pass physical, background and drug test
Preferred
Experience with CNC controls ( Fanuc, Siemens) preferred
