Responsibilities
Own and grow the organic bulk feed business within the assigned region
Protect and expand an existing multimillion-dollar book of business
Drive new customer acquisition through proactive prospecting and networking
Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, growers, and industry influencers
Represent Kreamer Feed at regional and national trade shows and industry events
Operate with a business-owner mindset, meeting KPIs and accountability standards
Navigate market and price fluctuations while selling on value rather than price
Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols during farm visits
Remote position based in Central Pennsylvania, servicing an area within a 150-mile radius of Kreamer, PA
Approximately 30% travel within the region, plus attendance at national trade shows and events outside the core geography
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in poultry feed or commercial poultry sales
Background in ingredient sales may be considered; dairy and/or swine feed experience is possible with a longer ramp-up
Established network within the commercial poultry industry
Ability to communicate effectively with both plain community farmers and corporate decision-makers
Humble, hungry, and smart. Possessing strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with exceptional planning and project management abilities
Skilled in oral and written communication
Preferred
Organic feed sales experience is a plus but not required
