Responsibilities
Repair and maintain all golf course equipment and small gas-powered hand tools
Utilize technical skills to ensure accurate repairs and effective preventive maintenance programs, including changing oil, filters, tires, etc
Responsible for daily inspections for safety, cleanliness, quality of grass cut, and height of grass cut
Uphold all maintenance schedules related to reel grinding, preventative maintenance, and record-keeping
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Requires the ability to properly operate all maintenance equipment associated with this department
Requires lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds
Requires flexible work schedule. Will work weekends and holidays. May be required to work odd hours under emergency situations
The nature of this position is physical, and requires long periods of time walking, standing, or stooping. This position works in an outside environment and all associated weather conditions
Basic computer skills required
Must be in compliance with and support Drug Free Workplace Policy
This position requires a basic set of employee-owned tools
