Responsibilities
Perform 1st piece, In-process & Final inspections of parts to drawings, work orders, customer instructions, and any other specifications
Visually inspect and measure parts using tape measure, caliper, and angle gage
Familiar with equipment calibration process, proper use, handling, maintenance and preservation of measuring equipment and gages
Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports
Communicate quality problems and work with engineering and leads to support, investigate, and resolve quality issues
Assist in shipping functions such as counting, tagging, prepping, and loading. (Forklift experience required)
Qualification
Required
3 + years manufacturing (Quality background a plus)
Ability to read and interpret drawings (Manufacturing experience a plus)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Forklift experience required
Preferred
ISO experience a plus
