Responsibilities
Set up, operate, optimize, change over, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned production equipment
Maintain equipment to meet quality and production standards while minimizing downtime and waste
Perform equipment adjustments, cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
Complete preventative maintenance per plant PM program
Startup equipment and ensure proper operation of machines and control panels
Monitor and replenish component inventories; notify material handler when supplies run low
Safely shut down equipment during jams and restart cycles once cleared
Maintain accurate production and downtime records (logbooks)
Assist Maintenance, Production Mechanics, or Manufacturing Technicians with major repairs
Read and interpret machine blueprints and specifications
Perform and document required quality checks and process challenges
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment
Follow all safety, environmental, and Quality System Requirements (QSR)
Support upstream and downstream operations
Perform rework as required
Work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment
Qualification
Required
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude assessment during the interview process
Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule
Steel toe shoes required
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred
Prior industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience
Experience troubleshooting production or automated equipment
