Responsibilities
Support the Laboratory Manager with the development of testing laboratory goals and operation plans
Conduct laboratory testing to determine the engineering properties of soils, rock, concrete, concrete aggregate, and asphalt aggregate
Determine priorities for the work performed by the testing laboratory
Assure the establishment of testing procedures and standard operating procedures for all testing requirements
Responsible for ensuring a clean, well-organized and responsible testing operation, and prompt, accurate test reports
Perform testing with minimal oversight using own initiative to develop detailed plans given general objectives
Responsible for adherence to all safety rules and regulations
