Responsibilities
Actively monitoring security dashboards, including SIEM and EDR tools, and managing alert queues to identify suspicious activity
Performing regular analysis of network traffic and system logs to detect anomalies and potential threats
Investigating and responding to security alerts and incidents through initial triage, containment, and threat eradication
Participating in post-incident analysis to recommend technical or procedural improvements that reduce the risk of recurrence
Analyzing cyber threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, OR an associate's degree with 7+ years of experience
Active Secret security clearance
Must meet DoDI 8140 Certification
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
In-depth ability to interpret and apply DoD and Army level cybersecurity instructions and regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to various audiences
Solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security principles
A proactive and curious mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
Preferred
Advanced certifications such as CISSP or CEH
Hands-on experience with Windows Server operating systems
Familiarity with the configuration and management of Cisco switches and routers
Familiarity with Vulnerability Scanners, SIEM, and Network Analysis Tools
