Responsibilities
Highly focused on the Animal Nutrition Division, while working closely with the Global Finance Team to promote corporate growth and enhance profitability
Provide timely, accurate financial performance reporting, identify trends, and recommend actions to business partners
Analyze performance and variances to provide financial insights
Prepare annual budget, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans and present to management for approval
Support Sales/R&D in assessing business opportunities and developing price quotes
Build close partnership with Operations team to optimize plant performance, manage costs, and ensure capacity needs are met
Assess opportunities and improve processes/systems to improve profitability
Coordinate with Finance & Accounting team to ensure business transactions are properly recorded
Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting principles
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field of study
Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analytics including GAAP reporting for a manufacturing business
Knowledge of financial and accounting analysis, practices, and procedures
Experience in making and influencing decisions that positively impact financials
Strong experience with ERP, accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, including complex problem solving, troubleshooting and decision making
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
Ability to present technical, numerical, complex data to stakeholders in an effective and persuasive manner
Sound analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
Possesses excellent organization skills and detailed orientation
Ability to work with and maintain confidential data
