Director/ExecutiveThe Andromeda Electric Orchestra is a cutting-edge modern orchestra of electric musical instruments. They are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join their Board of Directors, where members will be responsible for participating in strategic planning, fundraising, and community engagement efforts to guide the future of the organization.

Responsibilities
Understand nonprofit operations, including financial oversight, legal compliance, and organizational structure
Actively participate in fundraising efforts. Identify and connect with potential donors regularly. Seek and cultivate relationships with sponsors and advertisers
Attend all board, committee, and special meetings (with advance notice if unable). Review meeting notes and recordings if absent
Attend at least 90% of concerts and events. Build meaningful relationships with patrons and donors at events
Advocate for AEO within the community by inviting individuals and businesses to concerts, fundraisers, and special programs
Help recruit volunteers for events
Step in personally to support when volunteers are limited
Make a personal financial contribution, at a level comfortable within your budget, to demonstrate commitment to the orchestra’s growth
Qualification
Required
Participate in board meetings
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes
Share expertise in fundraising, financial management, and organizational governance
Help in fundraising as contributions and sponsors is the essential foundation of revenue
Help in gaining new contributors, supporters and followers of the orchestra
Understand nonprofit operations, including financial oversight, legal compliance, and organizational structure
