Lead Designer, Content Creative Team
SHRM is a member-driven catalyst for creating better workplaces where people and businesses thrive together. They are seeking a Lead Designer to be the creative force behind their brand's visual identity across various formats, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling and design consistency.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Collaborate with producers, video creators, and modular content teams to translate research and data insights into visual storytelling
Concept, design and produce high-quality visual assets across digital, print and social channels, and provide creative assets and design direction for videos
Prototype and test new visual formats for emerging platforms (YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn carousels, Maglr or other digital publication formats, interactive PDFs)
Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and clarity in all visual design work
Maintain and evolve the visual identity to ensure it reflects brand evolution and campaign needs
Develop graphics, infographics, and presentation visuals that simplify complex ideas for executive, HR, and public audiences
Build creative templates, toolkits, and review branding suggestions and provide feedback, as presented by SHRM Agency of Record and other vendors
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of professional design experience across digital, motion, and brand storytelling
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to turn abstract ideas into tangible visuals that inspire and inform
Understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and inclusivity
