Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
Provide technical leadership for infrastructure and virtualization initiatives
Evaluate and recommend system improvements based on performance, scalability, and security
Maintain expert-level knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
Administer and support: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp / XenDesktop), Citrix Studio and Policies, Citrix DaaS, Citrix App Layering, Machine Creation Services (MCS), FSLogix Profile Containers and Application Masking
Manage and optimize Citrix NetScaler (Client), including policy configuration and performance tuning
Support StoreFront and Citrix Cloud environments
Lead or support migration of Citrix environments from on-premise or hybrid models to full cloud implementations (Microsoft Azure or equivalent)
Collaborate on architecture design for scalable, secure VDI solutions
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of virtual desktop platforms
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues
Support infrastructure upgrades, system enhancements, and environment optimization
Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Partner with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure system stability
Qualification
Required
7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or engineering roles
Extensive hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
Strong background in NetScaler / networking, including policy management
Proven experience supporting hybrid and cloud-based VDI environments
Experience leading or supporting Citrix migrations to cloud platforms
Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies, Citrix DaaS
App Layering, FSLogix
NetScaler (Client)
Windows Server & virtualization concepts
Networking fundamentals and performance tuning
Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong system design and engineering mindset
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of enterprise security and performance best practices
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
