VP of Retail

Responsibilities
Lead the new store design process, implementing best practices from across the airport concessions industry
Develop and implement product strategies to align with overall business objectives, drive revenue, increase profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction
Develop and implement innovative merchandising strategies to enhance visual presentation and promote customer engagement
Analyze sales data and market trends (including regular analysis of the competition) to identify growth opportunities and optimize product offerings
Manage inventory and supply chain operations to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
Lead and mentor store management to ensure operational excellence and adherence to all brand and company policies, procedures, and standards
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior, multi-store retail management role with proven track record of driving sales and operational success
Prior Airport Travel Convenience Retail experience
Proficient in retail management software and point-of-sale systems
Experience with inventory management systems and supply chain logistics
Proficient in all MS Office programs
Excellent communication (e.g., written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to understand P&L and other financial reporting tools
Ability to assess changing market/industry conditions and/or trends and adapt appropriately
Ability to remain flexible and work efficiently, effectively, collaboratively, and respectfully in a stressful, fast-paced environment
Ability to make intelligent, commonsensical, professional, and quick decisions under pressure
Proven cost control, negotiation, and risk management skills
Passion for the guest experience and ability to foster collaboration and positive engagement within teams
Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Flexibility to accommodate travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred
10-year TSA crr's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
