Responsibilities
Play a key role in class action litigation, evaluating potential matters and helping shape the firm’s case intake and litigation strategy
Handle analytical work, issue spotting, and assessing risk and viability across complex legal claims
You will partner with the national trial team to conduct the fact investigation and exposure assessment for class, collective, and representative actions
You will also be responsible for corporate disclosures, drafting answers and initial disclosures in various jurisdictions
Analyzing potential for removal, including damages calculation under the Class Action Fairness Act and preparing removal documents
Prepare a full evaluation of the needs of the firm's client
Qualification
Required
JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
5+ years of experience in class action litigation, complex litigation, or related practice areas
Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a national team
