Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Assist in the coordination of audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of financial operations
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards
Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Finance Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
CPA a plus
Experience in the private equity or retail industry is an advantage
