Responsibilities
Define and maintain the process to safely deliver a consistent quality product
Monitor the health of the equipment, define its upkeep, and respond to its excursions
Regularly report on the successes and failures of the production system, and define boundaries on allowable excursions
Serve as an expert on their process technology, and own issue response and escalation when Safety, Quality, or Productivity excursions occur
Implement and manage change to improve stability and consistency
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering or related STEM field Engineering or Technology
5 years Experience in production environment including equipment and process implementation
Experience in high-tech manufacturing (glass, semiconductor, PV, automotive) is ideal
Experience with glass handling and technologies
Experience with automated equipment
Statistical, Lean, or Six-Sigma qualifications
Project management and Leadership qualifications
Basic command of the English language, both written and verbal, is required
