Systems Engineer Intern
Imperative Care is developing novel robotic-assisted technologies for treating ischemic stroke. The Systems Engineering Intern will work with the Robotics R&D team to assist in developing a neurovascular robotic system, including defining proofs of concept and supporting system verification activities.

Responsibilities
Define various proofs of concept to aid architecture evaluation in collaboration with more senior team members
Apply technical knowledge to evaluate system designs, identify optimal system solutions, and ensure delivered features meet system and clinical requirements
Support system verification activities by developing test tools & fixtures and designing & executing test protocols
Review test data against established acceptance criteria and document appropriate test reports
Solve technical issues through troubleshooting and determining root cause
Participate in brainstorming and suggest new ideas and improvements pertaining to design and process
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of college-level coursework in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline & a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electromechanical systems
Preferred
Some experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python for test automation, data acquisition, and data analysis
