Responsibilities
Lead system operations and administrative support for Medicaid enterprise systems including eligibility, enrollment, and member management platforms
Oversee systems administration and operational support for:
Data Operations Hub
Member Management Systems
Atlassian Suite
Other supporting enterprise systems
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams supporting:
Production Support
Helpdesk Operations
Interface Support
Ongoing Operational Activities
Provide incident management support, including on-call and after-hours coverage for releases and unplanned incidents
Identify, document, and mitigate operational risks and system issues
Handle internal and external escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders
Manage and monitor SLAs, working closely with contract monitors and vendors
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (CMS, SSA, etc.)
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and security assessments
Implement and monitor operational processes including:
Change Management
Release Management
Incident Management
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Produce dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership
Monitor licensing, infrastructure, and support requirements; coordinate procurement when needed
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and reduce costs
Foster a professional, productive, and collaborative team environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience managing system operations and/or administrative functions
3+ years of project management experience focused on system operations and administrative environments
Strong experience providing incident management, including after-hours support
Proven ability to manage external vendors and third-party partners
Hands-on experience managing a ticketing system for application or production support
Preferred
Prior experience managing Medicaid Enterprise systems
Experience administering or supporting Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
AWS Cloud Certifications
Strong presentation skills with experience preparing executive-level reports
Ability to lead teams and provide guidance to both technical and operational staff
