Responsibilities
Perform process sustaining tasks for the manufacturing line on a variety of mechanical and chemical processes including response to out-of-control process, work on yield improvement projects, disposition of special case non-conforming materials that come from the manufacturing line, qualifying new equipment and processes that are being introduced into the manufacturing line
Apply technical skills to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, factory automation and robotics
Assist in developing and implementing quality systems, identifying inefficiencies across the business and implementing technical solutions by working closely with the Technical Program Manager
Lead Associates and Leads in a high-volume manufacturing environment, collaborate cross-functionally to achieve production goals, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement
Supervise a group of equipment maintenance technicians responsible for equipment availability and performance, perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment
Qualification
Required
Experience in manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance
Technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to perform process sustaining tasks for manufacturing lines
Experience with Lean manufacturing activities
Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement technical solutions
Experience in leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Knowledge of safety procedures in manufacturing
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve production goals
Experience in preventative maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
