Chicago Transit Authority is the second largest transit system in the country! They are seeking a Yearlong Business Development Intern to work within the Revenue and Fare Systems department’s Business Development unit, where interns will process revenue-generating assets, analyze trends, and manage project-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Process and understand the revenue-generating assets that the department oversees, look for trends, and develop creative ways to generate more revenue

Become knowledgeable of the eBuilder program used to manage revenue generating projects, including billboards and digital screen installation

Own the Master Asset List for the department, ensure updates are made and address any challenges with vendors that arise

Required

Required enrollment status: Full-time (as defined by your academic institution) in a degree program at an accredited college or university

The demands associated with the normal office environment

Must be able to comply with office policy to work on-site twice per week

Light physical activity, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs

Comfortable with riding public transportation as this position will require field work and riding the system and visiting stations all over Chicago

Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good analytical and critical thinking skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Proficient project management skills

Preferred

Preferred Major(s): Business, Communications, Finance

Preferred Level of Education: College sophomore and above
