Responsibilities

Establishing managed care strategic direction
Overseeing the development, negotiation, implementation, and performance management of managed care contracts
Leading ministry-wide managed care contracting activities
Supporting OSFHS’s financial sustainability, access to care, and transition to value-based reimbursement models
Managing relationships with managed care organizations, insurance companies, and third-party intermediaries
Collaborating with OSFHS executives, physicians, and leaders to develop provider networks, quality initiatives, and cost management strategies across OSFHS regions

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, finance or related field
Five (5) years of experience in managed care contracting or administration
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, financial analysis, and payor relationship management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Strong knowledge of managed care contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare finance
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across clinical, operational, and financial teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related analytical tools

Preferred

Masters' degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
Experience supporting value-based reimbursement models
