This senior role combines academic leadership, curriculum development, teaching, and community partnership building to establish a nationally competitive program preparing students for meaningful careers in early childhood and elementary education.

Responsibilities
Design, launch, and grow the EMCE program and associate-level offerings, aligned with national early childhood standards
Develop and teach undergraduate courses emphasizing play-based learning, early literacy, child guidance, and family engagement
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty; manage program resources and budget
Build partnerships with early learning centers and community agencies to provide practicums, fieldwork, and experiential learning
Advise students on academic pathways and career development, modeling inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming pedagogy
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in Education (Early Childhood or Elementary preferred)
Minimum 3 years teaching experience in early childhood or higher education
Proven success designing curriculum and leading academic programs
Experience partnering with early childhood centers or related organizations
Preferred
administrative experience
supporting neurodivergent learners
developing experiential learning programs
