Software Engineer Intern - Applications
Imperative Care is developing novel robotic-assisted technologies aimed at improving outcomes for ischemic stroke. They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the design, development, and testing of software applications for the Telos robotic system, working closely with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities
Design, implement and test responsive UI and non-user facing applications that include real time media rendering, complex communication and other components
Participate in design and implementation of various backend features (image acquisition, recording, pipeline optimization) for the Telos robotic system
Contribute to development of the software testing and simulation environment
Work closely with other engineers (software, algorithms, clinical, systems, UX) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for a medical application
Understand user needs, clinical needs & customer input requirements to drive software development
Participate in design discussions and code reviews
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an B.S., M.S, or an Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Experience with C++ programming and multi-threaded applications
Background in object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns
Experience with video capture and image acquisition pipelines
Experience with GPU programming and CUDA
Experience with Qt framework
Excellent communication and documentation skills
